Dvorak

Dvorak, or the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard, was originally an alternative typewriter keyboard layout patented in 1936 intended as a more ergonomic and faster alternative to QWERTY, which was universal at that time. The Dvorak layout as we know it today was standardized as ANSI X4.22-1983; it differs from Dvorak’s original design in the placement of numbers and punctuation. It is available on all major operating systems.
