XPeRT

XPeRT is a transitional keyboard layout patented around 2002 or 2003 that claims to be a faster alternative to QWERTY due to its greater emphasis on alternation (though not as high as Dvorak) and higher index and middle finger usage. Unusually among alt layouts, the creator sold a “software kit” to install the layout for US$29.
